મારી ગાગર ઉતારો તો જાણું
કે રાજ, તમે ઊંચક્યો ‘તો પહાડને !
હું તો ઘરે ઘરે જઇને વખાણું
કે રાજ, તમે ઊંચક્યો ‘તો પહાડને !
આખો દી વાંસળીને હાથમાં રમાડો કહાન !
એમાં શા હોય ઝાઝા વેતા ?
કાંટાળી કેડી પર ગાગર લઇને અમે
આવતાં, જતાં ને સ્મિત દેતાં.
હું તો વ્હેતી જમુનાને અહીં આણું :
મારી ગાગર ઉતારો તો જાણું
કે રાજ, તમે ઊંચક્યો ‘તો પહાડને !
ડચકારા દઇ દઇને ગાયો ચરાવવી
ને છાંય મહીં ખાઇ લેવો પોરો;
ચપટીમાં આવું તો કામ કરી નાખે
અહીં નાનકડો ગોકુળનો છોરો.
ફરી ફરી નહીં આવે ટાણું :
મારી ગાગર ઉતારો તો જાણું
કે રાજ, તમે ઊંચક્યો ‘તો પહાડને !
